December 2, 2009	Candidates for the Assembly raised $18 million and spent $15.8 million during the recent general election.
December 1, 2009	Gubernatorial candidates Governor Jon S. Corzine, Governor-elect Christopher J. Christie, and Independent Candidate Christopher J. Daggett collectively raised $40.8 million and spent $40.1 million in the recent general election contest.
November 23, 2009	ELEC has issued a reminder that the 20-day post-election reports for the 2009 General Election (due by 5:00 p.m. on November 23, 2009) will be disclosed.
November 16, 2009	For the first time ever, members of the public, media members and candidates now can use the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission website (www.elec.state.nj.us) to search campaign donations received by municipal candidates.

November 5, 2009	Jeff Brindle, Executive Director of the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC), today announced the appointment of Joseph W. Donohue of Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey, as Deputy Director of the Commission.
October 28, 2009	Candidates for the General Assembly have raised $14.6 million and spent $10.2 million, according to 11-day pre-election reports filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission for the 2009 General Election.
October 27, 2009	According to 11-day pre-election reports filed by gubernatorial candidates for the 2009 General Election, financial activity has decreased from 2005.
October 22, 2009	Following the pattern set in the gubernatorial and Assembly contests and among the big six committees, financial activity by the 42 county political party committees has slipped significantly since 2005, the last time there was an election for governor and Assembly.
October 16, 2009	As of the third quarter the State parties and Legislative Leadership Committees have raised $8.1 million and spent $5 million, according to Jeff Brindle, Executive Director of the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission.

March 30, 2009	Business Entity Annual Statements, due to be filed by March 30, 2009, will be available on the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission’s (ELEC) website.
February 23, 2009	Data summarizing the Annual Reports of Lobbying Activity for the 2008 calendar year period will be available for public inspection at ELEC on Wednesday, March 11.
January 29, 2009	Executive Director announces that the NJ Election Law Enforcement Commission is seeking sponsors for primary election debates for gubernatorial candidates.

January 12, 2009	Fourth quarterly report of the State Political Party Committees and the Leadership Committees filed on or before January 15, 2009, will be available for public inspection at ELEC. September 25, 2007	The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission today temporarily suspended the pay-to-play filing deadline for nonprofit business entities only.
