* A certified Clean Elections candidate has met the requirement to collect 1,500 qualifying contributions, comprised of at least 1,000 contributions of $5.00 and at least 500 contributions of $30.00. A certified Clean Elections candidate receives public funds to conduct his or her campaign and must limit campaign spending to those public funds. A nonparticipating candidate has not met the requirements of the New Jersey Fair and Clean Elections Pilot Project.
