Business Entity Disclosure Filing

Business entities are advised to file as soon as possible by the deadline if they are currently operational or otherwise able to file.

ELEC recognizes some business entities contracting with the State may have difficulty filing FORM BE because of closures and limited access to records.

In light of these closures and access to records‚ ELEC will provide a grace period for any business entities during their period of closure if a business is affected by the current public health emergency. To receive the grace period a communication via email to efiling@elec.nj.gov is required. Please indicate the business entity and the duration of the closure if known. The business entity’s communication may be supplemented with further closures as they are known to the entity.
